Professional development

Dr. Hanley is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association (Div. 25), past Associate Editor of The Behavior Analyst, and past Editor of Behavior Analysis in Practice and of the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis. He has published over 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters primarily focused on the assessment, treatment, and prevention of problem behavior and sleep problems, teaching strategies for developing life skills, and empirically-derived values for practitioners.

Dr. Hanley currently advises doctoral candidates as a Research Professor at WNEU, serves as an Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, and leads FTF Behavioral, the international training and consulting group based in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Linda A. LeBlanc, Ph.D., BCBA-D, licensed psychologist, is the president of LeBlanc Behavioral Consulting. She previously served as a professor at Claremont McKenna College, Western Michigan University, and Auburn University and as the executive director of Trumpet Behavioral Health. She has published more than 100 articles and book chapters on topics such as behavioral treatment of autism, technology-based behavioral interventions, behavioral gerontology, and systems development in human services. Dr. LeBlanc is an associate editor of Behavior Analysis in Practice and the literature review editor of Education and Treatment of Children. She has previously served as an associate editor of The Analysis of Verbal Behavior and the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis. She is the 2016 recipient of the American Psychological Association Nathan H. Azrin Award for Distinguished Contribution in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Ashley Rose and her team at Mission Cognition™ help to develop and expand the skill set of clinicians who are passionate about trauma informed, developmentally appropriate, neurodiversity affirming practices pertaining to the growth of play and social behaviors.

Damon Korb, M.D., a board-certified behavioral and developmental pediatrician, examines the neurodevelopmental brain functions that determine how a child learns, behaves and socializes. As the clinic director for the Center for Developing Minds, he guides a team of child development experts that care for children and young adults who are struggling. With the recent publication of his award-winning book, Raising an Organized Child, Dr. Korb aims to provide parents with an assortment of tools to help their children develop the skills they need to thrive.

Dr. Korb has nearly 30 years of pediatric practice experience, including 25 years focusing on child behavior and development. He is on the Board of Directors for Parents Helping Parents, a past President for the Society of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, and a member of the Adjunct Clinical Faculty at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Korb is a frequent speaker, having lectured to parents and professionals on a wide range of neurodevelopmental topics, and has provided advice on NPR, the Today Show, and other morning news programs, including stations in the LA, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. areas. He has contributed to articles featured in Parents Magazine, The Washington Post, The New York Times, OprahMag.com and Good Housekeeping.

Tracy Vail, M.S., CCC-SLP, Ms. Vail has been working as a speech language pathologist with children with autism since 1982 in a variety of settings, including public schools, private schools, homes, and private practice. She has received postgraduate training in many treatment strategies, including the Social-Communication, Emotional Regulation, and Transactional Support (SCERTS®), Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication Handicapped Children (TEACCH), Applied Behavior Analysis, Relationship Development Intervention (RDI), Developmental Individual-difference Relationship-based model (DIR)/Floortime, the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), and the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM).
